Do you have the wind behind your sails to cross the finish line?!?! Join Pack 216 for fun under the Mall Pavilion for our Raingutter Regatta! Friends and Family are welcome to join and we will be selling concessions if you get hungry! Each Scout gets their first Kit covered with their Pack Dues!

About The Event
The Raingutter Regattta is a racing event for Cub Scouts that is the sailboat equivalent of the pinewood derby. Each Scout will receive a sailboat kit with everything you need to participate. Within the basic design rules, Scouts are free to paint and decorate their sailboats as they choose.
Each Scout gets their first Kit covered with their Pack Dues! you will get this from your Den Leader at your next meeting!
If family members want to participate in the Regatta with their Scout siblings, they will need to purchase a kit from the scout website for 7 dollars. We will have a sibling class of racing for those boats to race in!
Hotdogs, Pizza, Candy, Chips, Water, and Soda will be for sale at the event so you do not have to worry about leaving if youa re looking for somethign to snack on!
The Regatta will start at 1 p.m. Here is a timeline of the events so you are on track and on time for the day!
- 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM Lanes are open for practice
- 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM Registration of Boats and Racers
- 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM Category Voting
- 3:00 PM Opening ceremonies, Awards and Advancements. Once concluded, Racing Begins!
