About The Event
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
You may begin arriving at camp at 1pm on Saturday, November 13th.
We will need to clear the campsite by 11am on Sunday, November 14th.
LOCATION
Tannehill State park is located at:
12632 Confederate Parkway
McCalla, AL 35111
DIRECTIONS FROM PARK GATE
You will simply need to tell the attendant at the main gate that you are there for the Cub Scouts / Pack 216.
I HAVE ATTACHED DIRECTIONS to our campsite once you are in the park. We are staying at Camp Jack Wright within Tannehill.
MEALS
Each den will need to coordinate dinner or breakfast for their group. The Pack will not be providing meals at this event.
The Pack will be providing ingredients for S’mores at our evening campfire.
ACTIVITIES
Camp Jack Wright offers an orienteering course that takes about 1-2 hours to complete.
Make sure your Scout brings a compass!
Tannehill offers 16 miles of bike trails for those of you interested in trail riding. Please feel free to bring your bikes.
